Not likely: Don't worry if you have to. Paroxetine and SSRI's in general can be difficult to tqper off after weeks or months of treatment. Of course, if Paroxetine was working already for anxiety, depression or other symptoms, they might come up again. Usually these medications are not effective before the second or third week.

Not likely: Paxil (paroxetine) is one of the more difficult to cease SSRIs. if you've only been taking it 7-8 days and at the low dose of 10mg, withdrawal is not likely. If changing to a different serotonergic medications (a different antidepressant) then withdrawal would be even less likely.
