A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pediatrician: This type of reaction to a facial bite is quite concerning and must be evaluated by your pediatrician or emergency room physician as soon as possible. Facial infection, if present, must be treated promptly and appropriately. Hopefully this is just a pronounced allergic reaction to the bite, but infection must be checked for.
