Took 1 birth control tablet out of order. not sure what to do now?

Depends upon pill: What brand birth control pill are you taking? Monophasic? Biphasic? Triphasic? If monophasic, no worries, they're all the same. If multiphasic, you'll throw off hormone levels for a day but should still be protected despite risk for spotting. Tomorrow, start from where you should be today and continue on. Just don't skip any! And if progestogen mini-pill, don't be late by more than 3hrs. Set alarm

It's ok: You should be fine. Was it out of order as in took one pill of a different week in a tri-pack? or do you have a pack that's all the same dose? Either way, take the next pill as the one you missed and then continue on as normal and you should be just fine. If you get a little spotting, this should also be fine, don't worry.
