Depends: on the stage of pregnancy. For the very earliest pregnancy... not much difference. In second trimester, comparison is probably better to birth (less bleeding with abortion than full term pregnancy) than to a period.

Depends: Is common to have bleeding for several weeks after an abortion. Bleeding between periods occurs for other reasons. Make sure you follow up several weeks agar an abortion or if you're irregular period continue
