Just Levaquin (levofloxacin): There is lots of magnesium in the body, so it won't deplete to symptomatic levels in just a few days. Levaquin (levofloxacin) can have such side effects, and you should let your prescriber know about them--together decide if this is cause (and if worth putting up with for rest of course, or need new Rx for other antibiotic), or if something else might be going on and you need seen again.

Levaquin (levofloxacin) toxicity: Levaquin (levofloxacin) is a fluoroquinalone, and has a high rate of serious side effects, and black box warnings. People may get permanent incapacitation, psychoses, disability and death, even after a single dose. The main purpose for development of the fluoroquinalones was military--to combat the biological weapon anthrax. Your symptoms are all recognized side effects of the fluoroquinalones.Call your pcp
