Trigger finger: may be the culprit. The doctors may be focusing on your hypotonia as the source of the pain and locking when it may just be the flexor tendon getting caught in the A1 pulley or tunnel that the tendon runs through. Can be treated with a steroid injection (less successful) or surgical release (quick and VERY successful)
