Is it possible to die due to respiratory infection with a oxygen level of 95 in 48 hours?

Sure: Your oxygen level of 95 is normal. However that's not to say you won't get septic and develop septic shock and die in 48 hours. Or get a PE. There are many things that can happen to someone aside from having low oxygen.
