Get checked: Persistent fever is not normal. Keep a diary and record the temperatures. Note whether medication for fever is needed and how long it takes for the fever to resolve. Note any other symptoms (such as the hand pain). Schedule a doctor's visit to initiate a work up for possible causes (infection, autoinflammatory diseas etc.).
