Depends: The amount of bleeding depends on how far along you were when you had the abortion. The further along the more bleeding and cramping. Some bleeding and cramping is expected -- typically more than your normal period. If you feel it is excessive then schedule a follow up visit with the doctor who gave you the medication for the termination
