Hi, i just wanted to ask if i had a regular period than less than a week later my period begins again what does this mean?

Irregular bleeding: If you had a regular period and less than a week later you are bleeding like a period again, this is abnormal. It can be a sign of infection, abnormal cervical cells, endometrial polyps, thyroid disease,endometrial hyperplasia.A full history, exam, and appropriate testing would be necessary in order to make a diagnosis.See your PCP or GYN.Hope this helps.
