No.: Those are not typical early symptoms. But if you have had risky sex, you need to make sure you don't have either one, or other std's, too. Don't wait for symptoms, often there may be none until the infection is advanced. Practice safe sex from now on!

Not likely: Thrush, pale tongue, and white coating of the tongue are not the same things. Thrush is a yeast infection. Coated tongue can occur with innumerable minor viral infections and other mild health problems. Yeast infections are common in advanced HIV, sometimes (but rarely) with acute (new) HIV infection, but not syphilis. If symptoms or at risk based on exposure history, see a doctor. Good luck!
