Ttc with irregular cycle. last had sex tuesday and now my husband is away and i have noticed egg white mucus today. could we still be successful?

Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative re do the test in 4-5 days, unless you get a period before then. Timing is everything: You need to have your husband around the mid portion of your menstrual cycle when ovulation is usually present. Ovulation predictor kits or basal body temperature (BBT) charts can also be of benefit. With that said, you can conceive unless there are other reproductive physical problems with either of you.
