No guarantee: Having shingles once only lowers your chances of getting it a second time, at least for a while. If the virus activates again, you get shingles again.

Afraid not: Activation of the herpes virus can recur, unfortunately. The "shingles shot" reduces chance of outbreak and severity. Talk yo your Physician or Pharmacist.
