Is it possible to differentiate pkd from multi cystic kidney disease by sonography?

PKD: Yes. First you have to take family history into consideration. PKD runs in families. The cysts in PKD occur on both sides and are teeming in number as compared to multicystic kidney disease. Furthermore, PKD may have several other clinical features and high blood pressure is a very frequent accompaniment.
