Pregnant?: If you have a change in the pattern of your periods and are sexually active, the first concern is to make sure you are not pregnant. If not, there are other reasons to have irregular periods, and if the problem is new and continues for more than 2 periods, do get checked to find out what is going on. Depending on the cause, there is good treatment out there for period discomfort and irregularity.
