Menstrual migraine: Migraines around the time of the period are relatively common. If by making you sick you mean nausea/vomiting, this also goes with the menstrual migraine diagnosis. There are many different ways for treating this. If you only get headaches with your period, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents can be particularly helpful. If you get other headaches, triptans work well. A neurologist can help.
