For the last couple off days ive been really thirsty. but nothing i drink is working what does this mean?

It depends: it may be as simple as excessive thirst from dehydration, seasonal allergies causing throat irritation etc to more severe manifestation of diabetes in which case you would also be peeing more frequently. If your symptoms persist even after some OTC meds for symptomatic relief for the above possibilities, please see your GP fir an evaluation.
