Be honest with him.: Lying to your sexual partner is never a good precedent because if he finds out, you'll be suspected of lying about things in the future and that leads to a very poor sexual life for you both. Your boyfriend, if he's a good one, will respect you regardless of your experience and work with you to ensure that you both enjoy the experience. There are many ways he would know you're not on your period.

Make sure: First of all, make sure you are ready. Consider whether or not you want to have a relationship during which you cannot be completely honest. Not a judgement, just food for thought.

Virginity: Virginity refers to the state before first sexual intercourse in males and females. Presence of intact or broken hymen does not necessarily indicate virginity or lack of virginity. The hymen can be broken without having sex.

Lying's a bad choice: Not being honest with your BF is not a good idea. If you cannot be honest with him, there is never going to be an honest healthy relationship. Plus if he does not know you are a virgin, the sex can hurt more than is necessary. Tell him, he will be understandably mad at you if you are not up front with him and trust will be hard to achieve from now on, if you start out with this big a lie.
