A member asked:

Is a low haemaglobin level dangerous during chemotherpay ? and what can we do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: Chemotherapy depresses the bone marrow where blood elements are made. Typically the white blood count, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelet count all fall. They recover with time. Your oncologist is no doubt well aware and monitoring them. Follow their advice - they're the experts.
