ENT Doc: There must be a violation of the mucous membrane of the nose. If it has been there a while, see an ENT doc for examination.

Very common: Dry air can make the inside of the nose dry and make them prone to bleed. Living in a dry climate and using a central heating system can dry out the nasal membranes. Use the humidifier but make sure that you keep it clean and sanitized.
