Dry nose: In winter months, relative humidity decreases. This is especially bothersome when sleeping - the dry air is very irritating to our nasal mucosa. It sounds like you have this problem. Consider using a fingertip full of vaseline to coat the inside of your nose before bedtime, and run a warm mist humidifier in your bedroom. If the symptoms persist, see your physician.
