Hormones: It's more likely your body's reaction and readjustment to the hormones in your body after having your daughter and having the rod placed. Bleeding and periods can be a bit off and spotty for awhile after these events. And you should be protected from pregnancy theoretically. Talk to your doctor for further explanation if you're still concerned.
