Hard to say: The general area you describe is occupied by an ovary/ intestine/ urinary structures/blood vessels, etc. Since none of these structures will provide a clear signal, a history and exam are necessary to evaluate such a problem.

Take her to the ER: Any severe pain in the abdomen or Pelvis(?ovarian region) can be an emergency requiring immediate medical/surgical evaluation unless the pain settled down in 1-2 hours. If there is associated nausea or fever, that makes it even more serious. So take her to a doctor ASAP.
