A member asked:

Is it normal to have periods twice in a month if you were on a birth control injection?.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: DepoProvera usually causes irregular bleeding at first. Over time, it usually causes periods to stop. When you stop using the DepoProvera, it can take a while for ovulation to resume so periods are often irregular again. Hope this helps.
