No: Not alarming, but the FBS suggests you have a tendency to diabetes. Diet exercise and wt loss are the initial therapies for this condition. It would be reasonable to repeat an FBS in 6-12 month or sooner if you have symptoms of diabetes. Could also check a Hemoglobin A1C with the next lab draw. Lipid panel is pretty good.

PooledCohortEquation: Use Pooled Cohort Equation (http://tools.cardiosource.org/ASCVD-Risk-Estimator/) to determine risk for heart disease over next 10yrs. Consider taking statin if known heart disease, LDL greater than 190mg/dL, diabetes or risk greater than 7.5%. Ask Family Doc to check A1c b/c FBS in pre-diabetes range. Focus on improving nutrition & exercise regularly to improve your health & odds.
