Discuss this : You need to discuss the fact that your period is late and you are having these other symptoms with the doctor treating your UTI. The paragard is a very reliable method of contraception but, like all contraceptives, is not 100% and a pregnancy is possible but so are any number of other things. A full history, exam, and appropriate testing are needed to know what is going on. Hope this helps.
