Ibuprofen: You can try heat, but I would suggest motrin, advil or ibuprofen over tylenol (acetaminophen). More and more evidence is showing tylenol (acetaminophen) to be ineffective for pain. However, if you develop nausea and vomitting with the pain, you could have torsion and that is more of an emergency. Consider calling your GYN to see if he/she can call in some 600mg or 800mg Ibuprofen until seen

Antiinflammatory: You can try an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen 600-800mg every 6 hours or naproxen 500mg every 12 hours which may help a bit better than the Tylenol (acetaminophen). Some women report a heating pad on the side of the cyst sometimes helps. Best wishes to you, hope you're feeling better soon.
