Should be safe: Valacyclovir is converted to acyclovir as it is absorbed through the intestine, giving higher levels of acyclovir in the blood than acyclovir itself. Your baby will be exposed only to acyclovir, just as if you had taken that drug. So even though valacyclovir hasn't actually been studied in pregnant women, almost certainly it is entirely safe.
