A member asked:

Is there a good way for me to take care of my blister?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blister: Keep it clean and dry. Do not pop it. If it does rupture, clean it with soap, water and a topical antibiotic ointment (over the counter). If you notice the fluid is milky (pustular) or you develop fevers, it is important to see your family doc or go to the er for sterile drainage and antibiotics. Most blisters heal uneventfully in a few days.
