Contaminated: This was a contaminated specimen. In other words, skin cells got in to the sample as it was collected.

Probably nothing: Epithelial cells are skin cells and cells that line hollow organs, like the urinary bladder and urethra. Epithelial cells seen on a urine analysis can be normal. However, if there are other abnormalities like blood or WBC'S , or if there are worrisome accompanying symptoms, further investigation is warranted. Otherwise, another specimen may need to be collected using a "clean catch" technique.
