Some approaches: OTC NSAID's such as ibuprofen or naproxen may help reduce some of the pain, but best long term approach involves stretching, exercise and flexibility approaches.

Chiropractic: I always refer chronic back pain patients to a good chiropractor. A good chiropractor is Dr. David Boyer in Chambersburg (close to you). You may also require medications and a neurosurgical consultation. OTC meds like ibuprofen at 600 - 800 mg three times a day may help as well.
