A member asked:

When is it too late during the day to feed solids/table foods for a baby? with changing work schedule sometimes we manage at 8:30 p.m.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

That sounds fine: Normal healthy babies 6 months or older can eat baby food at any time of day. During the first 2-3 months of starting solid foods, consider the baby food "just for fun", meaning it is ok if a baby wants it one day and doesn't want it the next day. Soon, a baby will settle into a schedule, such breakfast - lunch - afternoon snack - dinner - evening snack (no need for middle-of-the-night eating).
