Flomax (tamsulosin): Sounds like you have straining of the muscle of the bladder neck which can be seen in BPH, benign prostatic hyperplasia, or large prostate. The premace of flomax (tamsulosin) is to relax the bladder and allow more complete voiding of urine from the bladder. This is a normal reaction of flomax (tamsulosin).
