Some side effects of even short term corticosteroids can be very serious (examples include uncontrolled blood pressure, eye pain, severe headache, electrolyte abnormalities, kidney dysfunction, hyperglycemia, psychiactric manifestations and more). Notify the prescribing physician so that an appropriate course of action can be taken.
