Iud: both methods have been shown to be associated with relief of pain related to endometriosis, however the most effective method for birth control is the IUD, hands down. There are fewer concern about compliance with the IUD and it may have a better local effect on controlling endometriosis. I would be happy to discuss more in consultation.
