Chickenpox treatment: If you have never had chickenpox or been vaccinated and you are exposed to chickenpox and you received varicella vaccine right away will greatly reduced your risk of getting sick. Some studies show 90% of prevention of the illness if vaccine given within 3 days of exposure and 70% if given within 5 days of exposure. If you do get sick, the illness is much milder. Good luck!!!
