A member asked:

What ldl cholesterol level is considered a risk factor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

LDL cholesterol : Overall, it depends on your risk factors and other illnesses such as diabetes or high blood pressure. If you have no or minimal risk factors and you don't smoke your LDL should be 130 or less, however if you have had a heart attack or stoke then should you should try to get your LDL to 70 or less.
