A little: At 7 weeks you really should see a heart beat so it does not sound promising. However, there is no reason to rush to do a D&C and a follow up sonogram in a week may give you more peace of mind about the diagnosis. In the meantime if it is a miscarriage you may start bleeding and pass everything on your own.

See below. : Is this the first U/S? Heart beat would normally be seen at this time, but as study is operator dependent, experience of tech is important. Don't rush into d&c. Have study repeated in about a week. If d&c remains the procedure, one week later will not be a problem.
