Many options: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections ; hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do a home pregnancy test . There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Could be: A very heavy period that is 11 days late could just be very heavy because you had longer to grow the uterine lining and thus have more to bleed off or you could have been right in the first place and you were pregnant and now are miscarrying.If the bleeding continues you need to see your doctor.
