Monitor: It is a good idea to keep an eye out for blood in stool. The most common cause for scant blood on tissue after wiping is irritation of the sensitive skin surrounding the anus and vagina. Sometimes using a moist towelette instead of dry tissue is enough to allow the irritation to settle.
