Not meds here: Neither, both have side effects that would make you tired and sleepy. The GAD is making you jittery and you should seek psychotherapy

Probably neither: more likely underlying anxiety. Standard dose of lexapro (escitalopram) is 20 mg. mirtazwpine up to 45 mg. diazepam may be causing rebound anxiety if you have become tolerant. Hope you feel better soon
