A member asked:

Is it possible for consistent use of ativan (lorazepam) to cause a sore throat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not directly: More often Ativan (lorazepam) results in tranquilizing and drowsiness with some dizziness, but could prompt dryness of mouth with resultant sore throat. Yet more likely, the sore throat is due to other causes such as sinus or upper respiratory tract infections.
