Hi iv been on my period for 8 days now normally on have a period for 4 days, it's normally light to medium but this time it's heavy! iv had little pains in my stomach ?

Please get examined: Normal menstrual bleeding is a period that lasts from three to seven days; prolonged menstrual bleeding, or menorrhagia, is defined as bleeding which lasts beyond a week. Long menstruation may be a condition that can be easily controlled with hormones or one that indicates there is a serious underlying health issue. To be on the safe side please get examined if this has not stopped or recurs.
