Acne treatments: Stop nuts and peanut butter. Stop chocolate; cut down on dairy products. Wash with neutrogena acne wash and apply a bpo (benzoyl peroxide) cream or lotion -- something like clearasil -- on the affected areas at night. If it persists, see a dermatologist who may prescribe an oral antibiotic for you.

Acne diet: Diets for acne are a wasted effort. Acne is genetic & hormonal. Otc benzoyl peroxide & salicylic acid will help mild acne. Proactiv is an expensive form of benzoyl peroxide. There are a variety of very effective prescriptions. Therapy must be used according to the specifics of each individual. Acne is not your fault. It is not diet or nerves or dirt
