Maybe just fat: I could be normal fat. It could also be a hernia, particularly if bits off to one side, and goes away when you lie down and push it in. Consider seeing your primary care for an exam if you're worried. Hope this helps!

Need more info...: Is the swelling on or right beneath or deep beneath the skin? How has it been there? Does it bother of hurt you in anyway? Assumed asymptomatic & on skin, it may be a mole or benign skin lesion like keratosis; ... if right beneath, sebaceous cyst; ... if deep beneath, a small lipoma (a benign fatty new growth). But, still hard to tell what exactly it may be without a direct look at and feel on it
