Trichomonas, STDs: The discharge of bacterial vaginosis usually is white or gray, without bubbles, doesn't stain underwear. Yellow or colored discharge with bubbles is typical for the STD trichomonas, which causes the same strong odor as BV, usually fishy. Other STDs (gonorrhea, chlamydia) also are a concern for any colored discharge. See a doctor or clinic ASAP. Your sex partner(s) also should be checked.
