Patience: Your body will need time to recover after hysterectomy. There are some things you can do to speed the process up such as getting up and walking as soon as you feel able. Minimizing the amount of narcotic pain medication and only using what you need is also critical. Your doctor and the nursing staff will do what they can to help. Get well soon!
