Prepatellar bursitis: That is usually a condition known as Prepatellar bursitis. It is sometimes seen in people that do a lot of kneeling. It can resolve. Ice and compression can help. It can also be aspirated or drained. It can also get infected, so if it gets red and warm you would definitely want to be seen.
