Have many symptoms of cfs/me but also fibromyalgia as well. is it possible to have both or could it be something completely different?

Both: often the two go together and are part of the same syndrome. You need to discuss this with your physician. The symptoms are chronic in both conditions. You need to ask your physician to have you see a rheumatologist and see if they can help clarify your best therapy for your fibromyalgia.
