I'm taking the monistat cream treatment and it is for 7 days but i'm getting my period in 5 days can i continue the treatment even while on my period?

Yes, no problem: You should finish the full 7 days of treatment. This won't cause any problem. If you use tampons, remove the old tampon, insert the cream, then a fresh tampon. For future yeast infections, consider fluconazole (Diflucan®) instead of Monistat or other creams. It's a single pill by mouth and you're done -- just as effective as 7 days of vaginal cream.
